What You Will Do
- Design and implement robust backend systems using Python and Django to support scalable applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and high performance of distributed systems.
- Own the architecture and scaling challenges of large-scale applications deployed on GCP.
- Develop and maintain GraphQL APIs to enhance data retrieval and efficiency.
- Utilize Kubernetes and Terraform for infrastructure management and deployment automation.
- Lead technical discussions and provide mentorship to junior engineers within the team.
- Drive initiatives that deliver measurable outcomes in performance and system reliability.
Ideal Candidate Background
- 5+ years of experience as a backend engineer with a strong focus on Python and Django.
- Proven track record of scaling large distributed systems in a production environment.
- Experience with GCP or similar cloud platforms, showcasing a solid understanding of cloud infrastructure.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement secure, scalable systems with measurable commercial impact.
Preferred
- Familiarity with GraphQL, Kubernetes, and Terraform to enhance system capabilities.
- Experience in fast-growing B2B enterprise SaaS companies, particularly within the cybersecurity or infrastructure sectors.
Compensation and Benefits
