Are you a Senior C# developer passionate about designing scalable solutions that have an immediate impact on the customer experience? We are looking to strengthen the team that builds Investment Overview, a backend solution that sits at the center of the customer experience and places high demands on correctness, performance, and resilience.
SEB is more than a bank. We are a technology-driven financial institution where everything starts from our customer needs and business outcomes. AI, data and modern engineering are natural parts of how we work, build and deliver value. From core banking platforms to agentic AI , automation, cybersecurity and cloud, we offer a broad tech landscape and many paths to grow. Together, we are shaping secure, responsible and future- proof solutions for our customers and society. Are you ready to take on a new challenge?
As a senior backend developer, you will join the team responsible for building the foundation of our future customer experience: the Investment Overview. This provides information for the first thing customers see when they log into our app or web platform, making it one of the most critical drivers of customer satisfaction. In this role, you will be part of designing and implementing the core data layer - including data sourcing, aggregation, compilation, and the API interfaces - that powers this experience end to end.
You will work in a small team, collaborating close to Product Owner, stakeholders and coworkers to ensure smooth development, maintenance and deployment in production.
The solution will grow over the coming years, so you will be part of clarifying requirements as well as designing the solutions going forward.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a tangible impact and grow your expertise.
It is our fundamental belief that inclusion and diversity is crucial for our future success. We strive to have an inclusive, value-driven culture where employees feel valued, respected, and involved irrespective of who they are, what they believe or where they come from.
Since we select candidates continuously, feel free to send in your application today via the link in this ad, but no later than 2026-09-17. If you have questions about the position, please contact Jonas Lindqvist, jonas.lindqvist@seb.se, note that we will not process applications via email.
Please be aware that our final candidates undergo background checks, a process that includes for example identity control, verification of qualifications, credit checks, company engagements and history of crime. In some cases, we also apply random drug checks. During employment, employees within SEB can also expect to undergo recurring background checks.
SEB Sweden has a redeployment responsibility, which means that this position might be covered by internal redeployment.
The employment is covered by collective agreements signed between Finansarbetsgivarna and Akademikerföreningen and between Finansarbetsgivarna and Finansförbundet.
