Job Description

Optimiza is looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality backend services and APIs that power our applications. Your role involves ensuring the robustness, scalability, and security of backend systems while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and RESTful APIs.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.
  • Optimize backend performance and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Implement and maintain security and data protection measures.
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
  • Ensure system reliability and availability through monitoring and testing.
  • Stay up to date with emerging backend technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of professional experience as a Backend Developer.
  • Proficient in backend programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Good understanding of security best practices in backend development.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
