Job Description

We’re looking for a Back end developer to join our development team! As a Back end developer you will develop APIs, microservices, flexible interfaces, at massive scale across multiple continents.

Part of the role will include integration with multiple external APIs, processing of the data, and compiling it in a flexible way to accommodate various output requirements.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards
• Optimize application performance and ensure a smooth user experience across different devices and browsers
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential applications to enhance our e-commerce platform

Requirements

• 4+ years of Back end development
• In-depth knowledge and experience developing API’s and microservices
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript, and Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it (such as Express or equivalent)
• Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Experience working with various data storage solutions such as SQL Redis, MongoDB, etc.
• Experience working with Queuing solutions such as gearman, RabbitMQ, SQS, etc.
• Implementing automated testing modules and unit tests
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS and GCP
• Experience working with Linux
• Experience with CI/CD processes
• Bonus - Familiarity with K8S, and related frameworks such as helm, Argo-cd, Prometheus, etc.
