Senior Azure Specialist

Department: Cloud & Infrastructure Services
Location: Gulberg 3, Lahore
Employment Type: Full-Time -Onsite
Experience Required: 4+ Years (Senior Level)
Compensation:300k - 400k

We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Specialist to lead the design, implementation, and administration of cloud infrastructure and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

This role is critical in driving cloud transformation initiatives while ensuring secure, scalable, and resilient IT operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure cloud services, Microsoft 365, enterprise security, identity management, and endpoint management.

Key Responsibilities

Azure Cloud Infrastructure

  • Architect and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Azure Virtual Machines (VMs)
  • Design and configure Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), NSGs, VPN Gateways, and Load Balancers
  • Manage Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates for infrastructure automation
  • Administer Azure Site Recovery (ASR) and backup strategies

  • Deploy and manage Azure Storage solutions (Blob, Files, Disk Storage)

  • Oversee Azure identity lifecycle management and Azure Sphere integrations
  • Plan and execute Azure Backup and seamless workload/data migrations

Cloud Security & Compliance

  • Implement Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Firewall, Azure DDoS Protection, and Azure Security Center
  • Manage Azure Key Vault, Azure Policy, and Confidential Computing

  • Deploy Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM & SOAR) and integrate with Defender solutions
  • Enforce Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) Conditional Access, PIM, and RBAC
  • Ensure compliance using Microsoft Purview and Azure Information Protection (AIP)
  • Apply industry security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, NIS, GRC, and HIPAA

Microsoft 365 Platform

  • Manage Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, and Microsoft Defender
  • Implement compliance and data governance using Microsoft Purview and Compliance Center
  • Maintain Microsoft 365 security posture

  • Lead email and collaboration platform migrations (cross-tenant, Google Workspace to M365, on-prem to M365)

Endpoint & Device Management (Microsoft Intune)

  • Deploy and manage device compliance policies and endpoint security policies
  • Implement Windows Autopilot, Co-Management, and BitLocker encryption
  • Develop App Protection Policies and enforce security baselines

  • Integrate Conditional Access with Intune

  • Utilize Intune analytics, reporting, and Remote Help

  • Implement Windows Update for Business and RBAC in Intune

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (Masters preferred)
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Azure and Microsoft 365 environments
  • Strong hands-on experience in Azure infrastructure design and cloud security frameworks
  • In-depth knowledge of Intune, Endpoint Manager, and modern device management
  • Proven experience in enterprise cloud security and compliance initiatives

Preferred Certifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert

  • Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate

  • Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong scripting skills (PowerShell preferred)

  • Deep understanding of ITIL and cloud governance practices

  • Strong communication and documentation skills

  • Ability to lead projects and mentor junior engineers
