Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

As our Senior Azure DevOps Engineer, you’ll partner with our Platform & Infrastructure Engineering leadership, founders, and executives to architect and govern our enterprise Azure cloud platform, drive CI/CD and infrastructure automation strategy, and set the technical standards that keep our systems secure, scalable, and reliable across every engineering team. What You’re Great At:

You are a hands-on cloud platform expert who thinks in systems, not just servers. You’ve spent years deep in Azure — App Services, AKS, Key Vault, API Management — and you know how to turn that expertise into infrastructure-as-code that other engineers can trust and build on. You’re as comfortable designing a zero-downtime deployment strategy as you are leading a root-cause analysis after a production incident. Security and cost aren’t afterthoughts for you; they’re built into every architecture decision you make. You mentor generously, communicate clearly with product and engineering leadership, and you’ve got the scars — and the certifications — to prove you’ve done this at scale before.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and maintain enterprise Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC); establish and enforce cloud architecture standards and operational best practices.
• Develop reusable infrastructure modules and deployment patterns, and monitor/optimize Azure infrastructure costs (FinOps) without compromising reliability.
• Design, implement, and govern Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines; standardize deployment processes across multiple development teams, including blue-green, canary, and zero-downtime strategies.
• Design and maintain load-testing environments and automated performance testing strategies; validate auto-scaling configurations for Azure App Services, AKS, APIs, and databases.
• Implement security controls aligned with enterprise standards, including Azure Key Vault, Managed Identity, RBAC, and least-privilege access models.
• Design, configure, and maintain Azure WAF policies and Azure API Management (APIM), including throttling, rate limiting, and API governance standards.
• Implement enterprise observability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics/KQL; lead root cause analysis following production incidents.
• Mentor engineers on Azure, DevOps, automation, and cloud-native architecture; lead technical design reviews and serve as subject matter expert for cloud operations and platform reliability.
• Partner with product and engineering teams using Agile/Scrum practices to align infrastructure delivery with business priorities.

Salary: $150,000-$155,000/year depending on experience.
