
Collaborate closely with the Azure Cloud Architect to implement cloud architectures that align with business objectives. Responsible for the hands-on deployment, management, andoptimizationofcloudresources,ensuringthattheymeetthehigheststandardsofperformanceandsecurity.Manageandoptimizecloudinfrastructure,focusingonperformance,scalability,and security. Deploy and configure cloud services, ensuring they meet the necessary compliance and governance standards. Collaborate with development and operations teams toautomate and streamline cloud operations using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles. Monitor cloud environments, identifying and addressing issues related to performance, cost, andsecurity. Assist in the development and maintenance of cloud documentation, including architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and disaster recovery plans. Provide support forcloud-related incidents, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to prevent future occurrences. Participate in the evaluation of new cloud technologies and tools, providingrecommendations to enhance the existing cloud landscape. Contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud processes and practices, promoting a culture of efficiency and innovation. Ensurethatallclouddeploymentsadheretocompanypolicies,standards,andbestpractices,particularlyintheareasofsecurityandcompliance.Assistintrainingandmentoringjuniorcloud engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices within the team.
Requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field andten(10)yearsofexperienceincloudengineeringandenterpriseapplications[oramaster’s degreein computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related field and five (5) yearsof experience in cloud engineering and enterprise applications].
CertificationsRequired:AzureCloudArchitect(AZ-303,AZ-305)andTerraformAssociate.
Experience must include the following Implementing and managing scalable, secure cloud environments; infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates, AzureDevOps); cloud engineering, with a focus on Microsoft Azure; implementing and managing scalable, secure cloud environments; cloud security principles and best practices; monitoringandoptimizingcloudenvironments,withafocusonperformanceandcostefficiency;cloudnetworking,storage,andcomputeserviceswithintheAzureecosystem;troubleshootingwiththeability to diagnose and resolve complex cloud-related issues; working with automation and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to streamline cloud operations.
Salary Range Language
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $150,000 to $190,000 annually. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package (including health, vision, and dental insurance, paid time off and a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching), this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
