This role involves understanding business units’ AWS requirements and delivering scalable, secure, and cost‑effective AWS solutions. Responsibilities include optimizing workloads for AWS, building and maintaining operational processes and standards, automating operational tasks, and acting as a trusted technology partner to the business.
The role is also responsible for identifying opportunities to improve existing infrastructure and processes, and for designing and implementing enhancements while working within an Agile framework.

Requirement:

• Strong ability to author, interpret, and troubleshoot scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

• Hands-on experience designing, managing, and troubleshooting AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, Lambda, CloudTrail, etc., in complex, multi-account environments.

• Working experience with AWS Systems Manager (SSM) for patch management, automation, and routine infrastructure maintenance is preferred.

• Hands-on experience creating and troubleshooting AWS CloudFormation templates, including third-party templates.

• Hands-on experience with AWS migration tools such as AWS Application Migration Service (MGN) or AWS Transform.

• Experience or working knowledge of AWS AI services such as Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, and Amazon Q is preferred.

• Familiarity with Windows Server and Linux operating systems, along with supporting infrastructure such as Active Directory and DNS.

• Understanding of core networking concepts including routing, Transit Gateways, and firewall rules is a plus.

Preferences:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with public cloud environments, preferably AWS.

• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related experience.

• AWS Solutions Architect certification is required; AWS Specialty certifications (Networking, Security, etc.) are preferred.

• Willingness to work flexible hours (2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST) and participate in scheduled weekend maintenance activities.
