About Champs Family Automotive

Champs Family Automotive is seeking a Senior Automotive Service Advisor in Surprise, Arizona. This role is designed for an experienced automotive professional who can manage 10-15 vehicles per day while providing clear, responsive customer communication. The position offers base plus commission compensation based on gross profit, with on-target annual earnings of $75,000-$95,000. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customer intake and accurately document vehicle concerns and service needs.
• Create and present repair estimates and maintenance recommendations to customers.
• Manage customer follow-up and obtain authorization for recommended repairs and services.
• Oversee repair orders from initial vehicle write-up through completion.
• Manage an expected daily car count of 10-15 vehicles while maintaining consistent customer communication.
• Handle inbound and outbound customer communication by phone, text, and email.
• Work toward weekly sales expectations of $20,000-$25,000.
• Address customer escalations and make a reasonable effort to resolve concerns before involving management.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of automotive service advising or relevant automotive industry experiencerequired.
• Automotive industry background required.
• Experience from an independent repair shop, dealership, or a combination of both is accepted.
• Experience using Mitchell 1 for shop management and customer relationship management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for customer interactions by phone, text, and email.
• Ability to manage multiple repair orders, customer follow-ups, authorizations, and sales responsibilities throughout the workday.
• Ability to professionally address customer concerns and attempt resolution before escalating issues to management.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base plus commission compensation structure.
• Commission is based on gross profit (GP).
• On-target annual earning range of $75,000-$95,000; actual earnings may vary based on the compensation plan and performance.
