PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

You’ll be involved in a project responsible for the modernization of a legacy enterprise platform through migration to a cloud-based, microservices architecture. The initiative includes decomposition of monolithic components, implementation of scalable APIs and cloud-native services, and establishment of modern QA practices to support continuous delivery and high release quality.

The QA team will play a key role in validating end-to-end business flows across distributed services, supporting automated testing, integration testing, regression coverage, environment validation, and release readiness in a fast-evolving cloud ecosystem.

THE ROLE INVOLVES:

• Adopt, implement, and continuously improve our customer’s test automation strategy and standards.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks aligned with our customer’s standards.

• Select, implement, and standardize appropriate test automation tools and technologies.

• Lead the rollout and onboarding of test automation tools, frameworks, and standards across product development teams.

• Define and execute an onboarding roadmap for development teams transitioning to new test standards.

• Create and maintain clear documentation, guidelines, and training materials to support teams.

• Provide hands-on support, coaching, and knowledge sharing to ensure successful adoption of automation practices.

• Lead and coordinate the Test Circle, collaborating with development teams and other stakeholders, step in wherever necessary and is responsible for removing impediments during daily test execution activities.

TECHNICAL PLAYGROUND:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Automation Test Engineer using different test automation tools.

• Proven experience setting-up Test Management standards and processes.

• Hands-on experience with different types of Testing.

• Relevant experience with Test automation libraries such as Playwright, Postman, TestRail, Junit5, RestAssured etc.

• Experience in writing tests using Gherkin language.

• Experience working with different programming languages (preferred languages TypeScript, Java, Python, command line) and file types (YML, JSON etc.).

• Proven experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab preferred).

NICE TO HAVE:

• Cloud exposure (AWS preferred).

• Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles.

• A demonstrated record of achievement in large technical (migration) projects.

• Ability to keep up with software and cloud development trends and innovation.

• Relevant university degree in Computer Science/Engineering.

SOFT SKILLS:

• Fluent English, with good written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong engineering instinct (do the right thing), a deep understanding of computer science.

• Strong interpersonal and assertive communication skills, great team member.

• Flexible and adaptive working attitude - self-motivated and taking ownership.
