About the role
We are looking for an experienced SDET / QA Automation Engineer to design and maintain scalable test automation solutions for web and API platforms, ensuring high product quality and reliability across CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain automation frameworks for web applications
Build UI test suites using Playwright and Mocha(Cucumber – optional)
Perform functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing
Design and execute API automation tests for RESTful services
Run cross-browser testing via BrowserStack
Integrate reporting with Allure Reports
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and quality gates
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the SDLC
Conduct exploratory testing and manage defect lifecycle
Maintain test documentation and validate data using SQL
Strong experience in QA Automation / SDET roles
Hands-on with: Playwright, Mocha, BrowserStack, Allure Reports
Good knowledge of BDD/TDD and test automation architecture
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions) and Git workflows
Proficiency in API testing and SQL
Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum practices
Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
Nice to have
Mobile automation (e.g., Appium)
Security testing fundamentals
Microservices testing experience
