- A Siemens Automation Service Engineer is a technical specialist responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of industrial automation systems.
- These engineers act as on-site experts, providing critical troubleshooting and support for complex hardware and software environments, including PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems.
- The role is pivotal in ensuring the operational efficiency of manufacturing plants and process industries by managing both new installations and existing site upgrades.
What We’re Looking For –
Core Responsibilities: Includes the full lifecycle of automation equipment—from initial installation and commissioning to routine maintenance and emergency troubleshooting.
Technical Software Proficiency: Mastery of Siemens-specific tools such as TIA Portal, Step7, WinCC, and PCS7 (DCS) is essential for programming and diagnostics.
Hardware Expertise: Engineers work with a wide range of products including S7-400/1200/1500 PLCs, PCS7, WINCC SCADA , and network communication products.
Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree (BE/B.Tech) or Diploma in Electronics, Instrumentation, or Electrical Engineering is typically required.
Experience Levels: Professional roles generally require between 5 and 11 years of hands-on experience in field service or automation engineering.
Extensive travelling in Mainly in Mumbai & Gujarat some times
