For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:

  • 9 years of experience as a Senior Consultant – Software Engineering & Network Security
  • Advanced proficiency in Python 3 and Django (including Django REST Framework) is required to design, build, and maintain scalable APIs and automation backends for network security workflows.
  • Deep architectural knowledge of Fortigate (FortiOS) and VMware NSX-T is required to design and support enterprise-grade network security infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to automate firewall policies, address objects, and security groups programmatically via the FortiManager API (JSON-RPC and REST) is a core expectation of this role.
  • A solid grasp of enterprise routing, switching, zoning, and micro-segmentation concepts is necessary to translate network security requirements into effective automation and consulting deliverables.
  • Fluency in English, at least B2 level
  • Availability for Hybrid model (based in Porto)
  • Based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit
