Job Description

Position: Senior AutoCAD Designer Construction / Steel Fabrication

Location: Lahore, Pakistan
Reports To: Business Unit Manager
Working Style: On-site / Full-time
Compensation: PKR 230,000 -300,000 per month
Experience Required: 3-5 years (Construction / Steel Fabrication Design)
Language Requirement: Fluent English (written and verbal)

The Senior AutoCAD Designer will be responsible for creating accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings, fabrication designs, and models for international construction and steel projects. This role suits a degree-qualified engineer or architect with proven AutoCAD 3D experience and strong knowledge of construction and fabrication standards

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for custom and standard access systems.

  • Develop fabrication drawings ensuring material and structural accuracy.

  • Collaborate with project managers, fabricators, and architects to ensure project alignment.

  • Manage projects through all design phases, including client communication and coordination

  • Conduct site surveys and interpret architectural/structural drawings effectively.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant design, safety, and fabrication standards

  • Mentor and guide junior draughtsman and estimators

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Architecture, Civil, or Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Experience: 3-5 years of proven design experience in construction or steel fabrication

  • Software Skills:

    • AutoCAD 2D Essential

    • AutoCAD 3D / Inventor Essential

  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of materials, fabrication processes, and installation methods

  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, coordination, and project management abilities.
