Your key responsibilities

Everything you’ll do will come back to providing exceptional audit activities for our clients. Colleagues and clients from a diverse array of backgrounds will look to you first for answers, so you’ll be a high-profile contact when it comes to resolving complex issues. As you build your knowledge and experience, you’ll become a credible advisor, influencing clients and engagement teams on resolutions that will impact entire industries.

Skills and attributes for success

• Implementing planned audit procedures and programs for substantial sections of an audit to enable the firm to render an opinion on the financial statements of our clients.
• Planning engagement objectives and an audit strategy that complies with professional standards and appropriately addressing risk.
• Demonstrating in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge of complex accounting and auditing concepts and applying them in performing audit procedures within the allotted time.
• Performing detailed review of financial statements and other schedules required by regulatory agencies.
• Coordinating with cross functional teams such as IT Audit and Tax Specialists to ensure the timely execution and completion of audit.
• Applying new and emerging developments in accounting in servicing clients.
• Consistently delivering quality client services by monitoring progress.
• Demonstrating in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge.
• Maintaining long-term client relationships and networks.
• Cultivating and managing business development opportunities.
  

To qualify for the role, you must have

• A bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent, in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and 3 years of related experience. Alternatively, will accept, a master's degree or foreign equivalent, in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, plus 2 years related experience.
• 2 years of recent audit experience with a public accounting firm;
• 2 years of experience in planning and executing on audits of internal controls over financial reporting;
• 2 years of experience planning, executing, and reporting on audits of financial statements; and,
• 2 years of experience in the use of audit documentation software.
