Location: Hybrid - Hunt Valley, MD

Job Type: Direct Hire

Work Authorization: US Citizen or Green Card holder

The A.C.Coy Company is currently seeking candidates for a Senior Assurance Manager role to support Construction businesses. Ideal candidates will have 8+ years of public accounting experience, experience conducting and overseeing large review engagements, and an active CPA.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Principal to oversee all assigned engagements including scheduling, job planning, and staffing
• Responsible for the work program and time budget
• Review questionable engagement findings
• Prepare and review financial statements, schedules, management letters, and tax returns
• Conduct an engagement evaluation report for each team member
• Coordinate and monitor engagement budgets
• Support new businesses with entity selection and software implementation
• Represent the firm at networking events and private functions

Qualifications

Education Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related discipline
• Active CPA or JD

Experience Required:

• 8+ years of public accounting experience with a minimum of 2+ years working with construction or real estate clients
• Experience overseeing large review engagement and audits
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Knowledge and proficiency with various accounting software
