Job Description

The Segment Manager for DBS Treasures plays a pivotal role in driving the growth, profitability, and service excellence of the affluent client segment. This position requires a strategic thinker who is adept at managing complex financial metrics, driving frontline productivity, and implementing data-driven insights to enhance channel efficiency and client experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving RM Productivity: Lead initiatives to optimize Relationship Manager (RM) performance across key sales and service metrics. Monitor and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement targeted coaching or process enhancements.
• P&L Management: Oversee and manage P&L metrics for the Treasures segment, ensuring business targets are met through effective resource allocation and strategic planning.
• Frontline Engagement: Act as a key liaison between management and the frontline team. Proactively engage with RMs and service staff to communicate strategy, address operational challenges, and ensure alignment on key performance indicators.
• Strategic Segmentation: Manage the end-to-end customer segmentation process, including the strategic execution of upgrades and downgrades to ensure the client base is appropriately serviced and aligned with segment value propositions.
• Channel Efficiency: Utilize data analytics to create actionable insights that drive overall channel efficiency. Develop and execute strategies to streamline operations and enhance the delivery of the Treasures service model.

Requirements

• Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of the affluent banking segment, including client needs, investment products, and service expectations.
• Analytical Rigor: Proven ability to analyze complex financial data, generate actionable insights, and translate them into strategic business decisions.
• Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of effectively influencing and collaborating with frontline teams and senior leadership.
• Operational Excellence: Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, formal banking environment.
• Education: A degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP) are highly advantageous.
