Job Description


The Senior Business Analyst programs and configures software to business needs. Under limited supervision, this job identifies and analyzes business software needs, writes complex code to optimize the performance and efficiency of the organization's information technology (IT) platform and infrastructure and conducts testing to ensure programs are functioning properly. This job is considered a subject matter expert in the applications development and support area.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Interprets written business requirements and technical specification documents to design and develop advanced technical solutions that meet business needs in financial industry.
  • CCollaborates with information technology (IT) and business partners to design, develop, and troubleshoot end-to-end technical solutions.
  • Performs complex coding based on written technical specifications.
  • Tests the resulting coding components in accordance with company standards and as defined in approved testing plans.
  • Investigates, analyzes and documents reported defects; raises issues as appropriate.
  • Analyzes run time profiles to debug errors that may exist and performs maintenance programming and correction of identified defects.
  • Solves complex defects that arise through own work or the work of others.
  • Manages large application development and software processes, along with guiding and mentoring lower level professionals.

We're looking for an AI Product Owner to drive the definition, prioritization, and delivery of AI-enabled product capabilities. This role bridges business stakeholders and engineering/data science teams, translating complex, ambiguous requirements into clear, actionable user stories that drive value delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end requirement gathering through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process walkthroughs
  • Manage relationships across business, technology, compliance, and vendor stakeholders; align competing priorities into a coherent product roadmap
  • Author clear, structured requirement documentation (BRDs, functional specs, process flows)
  • Translate high-level business requirements into detailed, sprint-ready user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog; partner with Scrum teams through sprint planning, grooming, and UAT
  • Define and validate acceptance criteria in collaboration with QA and engineering
  • Evaluate AI/ML and automation use cases for feasibility, business value, and risk (model accuracy, data quality, explainability, compliance)
  • Partner with data science/engineering teams to define training data needs, evaluation metrics, and success criteria for AI features
  • Drive UAT planning, execution, and sign-off with business stakeholders
  • Monitor post-launch performance and iterate based on user feedback and product metrics

Required Qualifications

  • 8–15 years of experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, or Program Management within technology-driven environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management across cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to translate ambiguous business needs into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Working knowledge of AI/ML product concepts (LLMs, agentic workflows, automation platforms) — technical depth not required, but fluency in AI product trade-offs is expected
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks (Jira, Confluence, or equivalent)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Asset Management or broader financial services domain
  • Exposure to automation platforms (e.g., Unqork, Automation Anywhere) or AI agent/LLM-based tooling
  • Certifications such as CSPO, POPM
