Title: Senior Associate, Taiwan Wealth Distribution

The successful candidate will join the Taiwan Wealth/Retail Distribution team and will report directly to the Team Head. The main responsibility of this position is to drive branch-level penetration across key distributors, which requires a strong focus on effective execution, building meaningful relationships, and maintaining comprehensive client coverage.

The individual will work in close collaboration with senior team members to support broader strategic initiatives. Over time, the candidate will be progressively developed to take on greater responsibilities in headquarter-level engagement and strategic account management.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive branch-level coverage and penetration across assigned distributors, building consistent engagement with relationship managers and frontline sales teams.
  • Support the development and maintenance of client relationships, with a primary focus on branch networks and selected support to headquarter contacts.
  • Assist in executing business plans and initiatives set by the team, contributing to overall sales and client engagement objectives.
  • Promote Barings’ investment solutions through client meetings, branch visits, and sales training sessions, enhancing product awareness and client understanding.
  • Support senior team members in preparing for headquarter-level meetings and strategic pitches, including materials preparation and follow-ups.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., Product Management, Client Portfolio Management, Compliance) to ensure smooth execution of client activities.
  • Monitor market and competitor activities at a practical level, providing observations and feedback from the field.
  • Deliver clear and professional presentations in smaller group settings such as branch trainings and client meetings.
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, including maintaining accurate records in Salesforce.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in wealth/retail sales, client servicing, or related roles within asset management or financial services in Taiwan.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above and relevant local securities licenses.
  • Good communication and presentation skills (both written and oral).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to develop in a client-facing sales role.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
