As a global company, we have offices in nine countries and can insert advertisements around the world.The Senior Ad Operations Associate is a key contributor within FreeWheel’s Programmatic Operations business, supporting the monetization of premium video inventory across top-tier TV Programmers, MVPDs, and major digital publishers. This role provides advanced operational expertise across programmatic campaigns, ensuring flawless execution, optimization, and technical troubleshooting for marketplace transactions at scale.
As a senior individual contributor, this role drives operational excellence, leads complex campaign workflows, and serves as a technical escalation point for internal teams and clients. The Senior Associate partners closely across all Demand Sales teams, Product, Engineering to improve processes, influence platform enhancements, and elevate the overall buyer and publisher experience. This position reports to the Director of Supply Curation and Enablement.
Responsibilities:
Lead complex campaign execution — Manage advanced setup, trafficking and troubleshooting across the FreeWheel AdServer for high‑visibility marketplace campaigns ensuring flawless execution.
Serve as an operational expert — Act as a senior point of contact for technical questions, escalations, and workflow guidance across internal teams and external partners.
Partner with client-facing teams — Collaborate with Account Management and Sales to champion best practices, resolve complex issues, communicate technical requirements, and ensure a seamless client experience.
Support strategic planning — Contribute insights to help shape how the Operations team supports business goals, new product initiatives, and marketplace growth.
Drive workflow improvements — Identify operational inefficiencies, propose enhancements, and secure buy-in from cross‑functional teams to implement scalable solutions.
Product Collaboration — Provide product feedback and influence roadmaps by identifying platform gaps, recommending enhancements, and partnering with Product and Engineering.
Process Optimization — Define and evolve operational processes by analyzing workflows, documenting best practices, and driving continuous iteration across tools and systems.
Escalation Lead — Act as an escalation point for complex client issues, supporting Account Management and Sales with advanced troubleshooting and strategic guidance.
Mentor junior team members — Provide informal coaching, knowledge sharing, and best‑practice guidance to Associates without formal people management responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Deep understanding of digital video standards (VAST, OpenRTB) and programmatic video environments.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders
High EQ and a collaborative mindset, with experience supporting or guiding junior team members.
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and drive initiatives forward without direct supervision.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Compensation
Primary Location Pay Range: $84,854.65 - $127,281.97Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
