HSBC Asset Management, the investment management business of the HSBC Group, invests on behalf of HSBC’s worldwide customer base of retail and private clients, intermediaries, corporates and institutions through both segregated accounts and pooled funds.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Associate - Real Estate, Singapore.

In this role you will:

  • Formulate and execute marketing/leasing strategies to optimize the rental income and maximize the operational performance of each assigned asset.
  • Responsible for the overall positioning of the assigned assets to enhance the cashflow and asset value through asset enhancement initiatives.
  • Prepare and manage the annual property budgets and reports which cover the financial performance of each assigned asset.
  • Support the Investment Team with the annual asset valuation exercises by providing the necessary property details.
  • Work closely with the external property/building manager to ensure that the assigned assets are properly maintained and managed.
  • Work closely with the appointed managing leasing agent to ensure maximum occupancy.

To be successful you will need:

  • Degree in Real Estate, Building, Business, Finance, Engineering or its equivalent.
  • At least 4 to 6 years of experience in asset management in Singapore.
  • Proficient in financial modeling.
  • Team player, strong initiative, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
