It’s an incredibly exciting time at Cripps with significant growth plans for the new financial year and our development and living sector team is at the heart of this expansion.
We are currently looking for ambitious legal professionals to join us at Senior Associate, Managing Associate, or Legal Director level. With a purpose-driven, B Corp certified culture, we offer the flexibility to base yourself at any of our offices, Horsham, London Victoria or Tunbridge Wells.
Joining our award-winning, 150-strong Real Estate team, you will be at the core of high-profile residential and commercial developments. This isn’t a role where you’ll work in a silo. You will:
• Lead the Lifecycle: Manage your own caseload, advising on all aspects of residential, commercial development and investment including strategic land assembly, promotion agreements, options, collaboration agreements, SFH, BTR and affordable housing.
• Collaborate with Experts: Work alongside our planning, construction, corporate, and finance colleagues to provide a seamless service.
• Shape the Client Experience: Partner with national housebuilders, investors, land promoters, and landed estates delivering commercially astute advice that moves the needle.
What You’ll Bring
• Proven experience running your own case files in residential and/or commercial development.
• Strong communication, negotiation and case management skills.
• An interest in business development and legal technology.
• An instinct for guiding others, leading by example, and energised by the opportunity to share your expertise, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing that benefits the entire development team.
Desirable (Nice to have):
• Experience advising major clients such as national housebuilders, institutional investors, or landed estates.
