Job Description

A leading international law firm is seeking a Finance Associate to join its Projects, Energy and Infrastructure practice in Singapore. The firm's Asia practice is widely regarded as a market leader in energy and infrastructure transactions across the region, advising public and private sector clients on landmark projects spanning transport, energy, renewables, social infrastructure, and digital infrastructure.

The successful candidate will work closely with highly regarded partners on project finance transactions, acquisition finance, and corporate finance matters with a focus on energy and infrastructure sectors. Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating finance and transaction documentation, supporting due diligence processes, assisting with coordination of multi-jurisdictional workstreams, and contributing to client development initiatives and knowledge sharing.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer with 4 to 8 years post-qualification experience in banking and finance, with preference for project finance experience. Strong drafting skills, commercial mindset, and a collaborative and proactive working style are essential. The firm welcomes candidates with a keen interest in leveraging AI and legal technology to improve efficiency in legal practice.
