Job Description

Our client is looking for a Senior Associate to join their sponsor finance group.

The firm is open to considering candidates relocating to Chicago, Dallas, Houston or New York; candidates must be admitted or eligible for admission to the Illinois, Texas or New York bar.

Pay Range: $240,000 - $370,000.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate degree.
  • At least 4-6 years of experience in experience representing borrowers, private equity sponsors, financial institutions, direct lenders and other investors in a diverse range of debt finance work, including acquisition financings, dividend and other recapitalizations, asset-based facilities, general working capital facilities, portfolio company management, restructurings, and reorganizations (including debtor-in-possession financings). Borrower side experience in the context of middle market transactions is a plus, but not required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Prior experience managing and mentoring junior associates and staff is a plus
