About Your Company

Our client is a Venture Capital firm and invest heavily into US Tech Giants / Pre-IPOs, they are currently hiring this headcount to handle annual audit, monitor fund operations as well as to support on SFC type 9 FRR reporting, ideally looking for someone with Big4 background who has experience with VC fund audit or someone with in-house experience and exploring for an all rounded position.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end audit processes for various fund structures
• Review and evaluate fund accounting processes, NAV calculations, and financial statements
• Assess internal controls and provide recommendations for improvement
• Conduct risk assessments and develop audit programs
• Coordinate with fund administrators, custodians, and other service providers
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to stakeholders
• Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification in HKICPA, CPAA, ACCA or any equivalent
• Minimum of 3-5 years of audit experience, preferably with a Big4 FS background.
• Comprehensive knowledge of fund structures, investment products, and financial instruments.
• Proficiency in audit software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Hong Kong regulatory requirements and SFC regulations.
• Experience with automated audit tools and data analytics.
• Strong project and time management as its a one man band position.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English.
• Immediately Available is a PLUS.
