THE ROLE & TEAM

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the region's leading Employment teams. You'll advise on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, working closely with clients to provide practical, commercially focused solutions.

As a Senior Associate, you'll play an important role in developing client relationships, supporting the growth of the team and mentoring junior colleagues, while working alongside recognised employment law specialists.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Advising employers on the full range of employment law matters.

  • Managing Employment Tribunal claims from initial instruction through to resolution.

  • Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, handbooks and settlement agreements.

  • Advising on restructures, redundancies, disciplinary and grievance matters.

  • Supporting corporate transactions, including TUPE and employment due diligence.

  • Building and developing strong client relationships.

  • Contributing to business development and networking activities.

  • Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for a talented and commercially minded employment lawyer who enjoys building trusted relationships and delivering excellent client service.

You'll ideally have:

  • Significant post-qualification experience in employment law.

  • Strong technical knowledge across both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.

  • Experience advising employer clients.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • A proactive and collaborative approach.

  • An interest in business development and growing client relationships.

  • Previous experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues.
