& Summary
A career within Economics and Policy services will provide you with the opportunity to work alongside clients to develop sophisticated and compelling economic analysis to inform strategic choices and guide their development of policy. We focus on helping clients make better decisions by providing business insights grounded in evidence by combining financial and economic assessments, cost benefit analysis, policy reviews, and programme evaluations across the different industries and sectors.
This role is suited for candidates who are analytically driven and want to work at the intersection of economics, climate, sustainability, and public policy. The role involves hands-on quantitative and qualitative analysis, policy and regulatory work, and direct exposure to government-linked clients and corporates in Malaysia and the region.
Alongside this, you will be exposed to Deals‑related assignments, where economic, policy, regulatory, and climate considerations are material to transactions. This includes supporting ESG and climate‑related due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and investments, helping clients identify, assess, and understand policy‑, regulatory‑, and climate‑driven risks and opportunities that may affect valuation, deal structuring, and post‑transaction strategy.
As a Senior Associate, you will play a hands‑on role in quantitative and qualitative analysis, work closely with a multidisciplinary team of problem solvers and contribute directly to client engagements from strategy to execution. You will engage with government‑linked entities, regulators, investors, and corporates, translating complex analysis into clear, decision‑relevant insights.
