Create your best future and join Westpac as a Senior Associate (Credit and Capital – Institutional Banking)
What’s the role?
We’re looking for a Senior Associate to join the Credit and Capital team within Westpac’s Corporate and Institutional Bank (CIB). You will play a key role in supporting both (i) compliance with APS120 (Securitisation) and (ii) the establishment and embedding of a scenario analysis framework for Westpac’s Institutional Bank (WIB).
You will contribute to supporting compliance of APS120 (Securitisation), including performing regulatory capital analysis, securitisation specific stress testing, reviewing controls and issues, and contributing to regulatory interpretations to support deal execution.
You will also contribute to the establishment of a framework to deliver bottom-up scenario analysis on material WIB portfolios. The framework will support risk appetite settings, understanding tail risk in portfolios and will inform decision making. To support the framework, you will develop an understanding of APS113 capital regulations and impacts to return on equity metrics. You will have the opportunity to engage across different business units and gain exposure to industry teams and portfolio strategies.
This is a full-time role based in Sydney / Melbourne which offers a collaborative team environment. The role is an opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and experience across institutional banking.
