Job Description

JPMorgan Chase’s Corporate Sector manages over $15B in annual operating expense and 45,000+ employees, spanning Enterprise Technology, Global Real Estate, Corporate Finance, HR, Legal, and other critical firmwide functions. Decisions made here directly influence the firm’s capital position, regulatory standing, and long‑term strategy.

The Corporate Sector Planning & Analysis team sits at the center of this ecosystem—partnering with Corporate CFOs and senior Finance & Business Management leaders to drive forecasting, budgeting, strategic analysis, and firmwide decision‑making. We support Corporate leadership, Firmwide FP&A, Investor Relations, Capital Management, Regulatory, and Resolution & Recovery teams.

If you want FP&A that goes beyond budgeting—into capital, stress, and regulatory strategy—this role is built for you.

As a Senior Associate, Corporate Stress Testing (FP&A) in the Corporate Sector Planning & Analysis team, you will play a key role in executing Comprehensive Capital Analysis & Review (CCAR) and Risk Appetite forecasts for the Corporate Sector. You’ll help translate macroeconomic stress, regulatory assumptions, and management actions into clear financial outcomes that inform senior leadership and regulators alike.

This is a hands‑on analytical role with real visibility. You’ll build and run complex forecast models, partner closely with central stress testing teams and Controllers, and deliver insights to stakeholders across Corporate Functions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own critical FP&A deliverables tied to CCAR, Risk Appetite, and Resolution & Recovery, partnering with Controllers, Firmwide FP&A and Risk Teams, Tax, and HR Finance.
  • Build, refine, and execute advanced stress‑testing and forecasting models, assessing Corporate financial performance under multiple macro and regulatory scenarios.
  • Apply strong FP&A judgment (not just mechanics) to explain drivers, sensitivities, and outcomes under stress.
  • Prepare clear, compelling materials for senior management that translate complex analysis into decision‑ready insights.
  • Lead ad‑hoc analysis and special projects tied to emerging business, capital, or regulatory priorities.
  • Actively manage timelines, issues, and dependencies; escalate risks and insights with clarity and confidence.
  • Strengthen controls, governance, and documentation around forecasting and modeling methodologies.
  • Identify opportunities to automate, simplify, and improve FP&A processes, raising both efficiency and analytical quality.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 5+ years of FP&A experience, ideally in a large, complex organization
  • Strong foundation in forecasting, scenario analysis, and financial modeling
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Anaplan, Essbase and PowerPoint
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets
  • Ability to connect analytical detail to the bigger picture
  • Comfort partnering across functions and influencing without authority
  • High standards for accuracy, controls, and documentation
  • Proven ability to deliver under pressure and manage competing priorities

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • CFA, CPA, and/or MBA
  • Financial services experience
  • Prior exposure to CCAR or regulatory stress testing
