Digital Solutions- Lead Consultant
Role:
An experienced digital solutions professional with strong delivery, solution design and technical advisory capability. Deep understanding of solution and data architecture, data science, data processing, analytics, automation, IoT and Operational Technology systems.
Track record supporting the delivery of complex digital programmes that include solution creation, configuration, testing, integration, implementation and scaling across capital project and operations environments. Specific experience in Automation, Digital Twins, Asset Performance Management, APM, Operational Technology, Data & Digital Assets or related digital transformation initiatives is important.
Strong understanding of how digital solutions are designed, integrated and operationalised, including data flows, integration requirements, analytics use cases, platform configuration, user adoption and value realisation. Able to work across business, operations, engineering, IT, OT and vendor teams to translate client objectives into practical digital solutions.
Experience supporting technology evaluation, solution roadmaps, requirements definition, proof-of-concept development, implementation planning, testing coordination and transition into operational use. Strong consulting, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both business and technical audiences.
You'll do/carry out:
Large digital transformations within oil & gas, power, energy or relatable industry.
Experience supporting solution definition, digital strategy, automation, digital twin, APM/ARIM, OT transformation, asset performance or data-driven operational improvement initiatives.
Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across business, operational and technical teams.
Day to day you will focus on digital solution delivery, data architecture, information management and technology-enabled business.
Work with operational technologies such as (SCADA, DCS, PLCs, historians) and enterprise IT systems (ERP, CMMS, MES).
The role directly influences client satisfaction, delivery performance, stakeholder alignment and the quality of consulting outcomes. Recommendations and decisions made by the role can affect project progress, issue resolution, business value realisation, customer confidence and follow-on opportunities.
The role is expected to identify risks, escalate issues appropriately and support practical decisions that improve delivery outcomes and protect Worley’s reputation.
Confident facilitating workshops, presenting to stakeholders, asking insightful questions and translating complex topics into clear, practical messages.
Able to influence without direct authority, build consensus across cross-functional teams and support effective decision-making.
Works with a high degree of autonomy under broad engagement, project and business objectives. The role is expected to proactively manage assigned responsibilities, engage stakeholders, support delivery activities and contribute to successful outcomes across multiple consulting engagements.
Supports compliance with Worley and client HSE requirements and promotes safe working practices when engaging with operational teams and customer sites.
You'll have/bring:
Able to travel to customer sites.
Strong working knowledge of digital technologies, Operational Technology (OT), data integration, analytics, IoT and related technologies.
Experience defining and executing a Digital Strategy roadmap for industrial or capital-intensive organizations.
Experience with Digital Twins, Data & Analytics, Industrial IoT, APM, or enterprise transformation solutions
Strong working knowledge of OPC, ETL, IoT and related technologies.
Proven experience in OT/IT convergence including integration of operational technology (SCADA, DCS, PLCs, historians) with enterprise IT systems (ERP, CMMS, MES).
Familiarity with digital transformation, asset management, data management and operational improvement solutions.
Experienced with Digital Twin, Asset Performance Management (APM), Cloud environments and distributed architectures (Iaas, PaaS), cloud security and compliance.
Comfortable supporting multiple clients, industries and engagement types while maintaining focus on customer outcomes and business value.
Experience supporting digital strategy, solution definition, use case development, proof-of-concept delivery, testing, implementation planning or operationalisation would be advantageous.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities, assess risks and develop practical digital recommendations
Proactive, delivery-focused and commercially aware consulting mindset.
