We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Associate, Construction Loan Servicing to join our Commercial Loan Servicing team. This senior-level position is responsible for managing complex real estate construction loans, including syndicated and participated transactions. The ideal candidate will ensure timely disbursements, compliance with all pre- and post-closing requirements, and provide leadership in process improvements and risk management

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Associate, Construction Loan Servicing to join our Commercial Loan Servicing team. This senior-level position is responsible for managing complex real estate construction loans, including syndicated and participated transactions. The ideal candidate will ensure timely disbursements, compliance with all pre- and post-closing requirements, and provide leadership in process improvements and risk management

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee pre-closing activities and ongoing servicing for complex construction loan portfolios.
  • Manage and approve draw requests, ensuring strict compliance with budgets, lien waivers, insurance requirements, and internal controls.
  • Coordinate site inspections and evaluate progress reports to proactively identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Review and validate third-party reports, budgets, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Relationship Managers, vendors, attorneys, and inspectors to resolve escalated issues and maintain project continuity.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and audit standards throughout all loan servicing activities.
  • Process and submit draw requests promptly and accurately, maintaining detailed reporting and status updates for completed draws and related activities.

Skills/Experience Needed:

  • 3-5+ in commercial construction loan servicing or monitoring, including syndicated/participated loan.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, real estate or related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • Proficiency in loan servicing platforms; Loan IQ, McCracken and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
