What You Will Do
- Manage the trial record and oversee all logistics for high-stakes billion-dollar disputes from inception to resolution.
- Take ownership of case strategy, supervising junior associates, paralegals, and legal analysts to ensure effective case management.
- Collaborate closely with partners and clients, serving as a primary point of contact and attending all client meetings.
- Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and serve as second chair at trial, examining witnesses with precision.
- Lead communication with co-counsel, navigating complex relationships with professionalism and poise.
- Develop and execute a practice development plan aimed at building your own book of business and advancing toward partnership.
Ideal Candidate Background
- 5-8 years of experience in complex commercial litigation, particularly in financial services disputes.
- Proven track record of managing sophisticated legal matters for high-caliber clients.
- Strong desire for courtroom experience and a history of taking cases to trial.
- Experience at an AmLaw 50 firm and completion of a federal clerkship are highly desirable.
Preferred
- Experience in managing and mentoring junior legal staff.
- Established relationships within the legal community that could contribute to business development.
- Familiarity with the latest technologies and trends in litigation practices.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary for this role ranges from $300K to $375K, complemented by a competitive benefits package designed to support your professional growth and well-being.
