About the Role

You will join our Commercial Transactions & Advisory team within Investment NSW. Commercial Transactions & Advisory structures, negotiates and assesses complex commercial proposals submitted by the private sector (whether solicited by Government or unsolicited) which align with government priorities and deliver high-value outcomes for NSW. The team also provides strategic commercial advice across Government and to the market to capitalise on new and emerging opportunities, and enable informed, evidence-based decision making.

As the Senior Associate, Commercial Transactions & Advisory you will contribute to some of the NSW Government’s most significant commercial projects and strategic investment opportunities. You will play a key role in delivering complex commercial transactions, competitive bids and major initiatives across a diverse portfolio, including city-shaping precinct developments and projects in the housing, education, transport, energy, visitor economy and creative sectors. Working closely with government and industry stakeholders, you will provide strategic commercial advice and help deliver outcomes that drive long-term benefits for NSW communities.

We're Looking For

  • Commercial Acumen: Experience delivering complex projects, transactions, commercial proposals
  • Strategic Analysis: Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess commercial, financial, legal and economic information and provide clear advice
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to build relationships with government and industry stakeholders to explore opportunities, resolve issues and progress commercial outcomes
  • Sector Agility: Confidence working across diverse portfolios such as housing, transport, energy, education and precinct development
