Senior Associate, Charting

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Senior Charting Associate to accurately populate market research reports with data from external sources. This position requires a keen eye for consistency, layout, and quality control in market research reporting. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience supporting fast-paced and quick-turnaround market research environment.
  • Expertise in using PowerPoint for creating professional presentations, including inserting and formatting tables, images, charts, and other visuals to create polished reports.
  • Strong skills in Excel for data manipulation, organizing and preparing data tables to be transferred into PowerPoint. Familiarity with advanced functions, pivot tables, and formulas can be beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure 100% accuracy in data population, ensuring error-free data integration into PowerPoint, with perfect alignment and visual consistency across reports
  • Proven track record of executing tasks independently, and operating with urgency, focus and discipline.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Accurately populate consumer insight PowerPoint decks using data tables from Excel and following client service Researcher instructions.
  • Conduct detailed quality control checks on reports to ensure consistency, proper UX layout and data accuracy. This includes thorough checks to guarantee that all images, tables, and text are perfectly aligned and formatted to maintain the integrity and professionalism of the repor
  • Assist in the development and updating of style guides and best practice documents for report creation and QC processes

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in market research associate roles focused on charting/ report population
  • Ability to work with and manage data from multiple sources while ensuring consistency and accuracy in reports.
  • Strong presentation development skills to align images, charts, tables, and text, ensuring that the presentation is visually appealing, easy to read, and free of formatting errors.

It’ll be helpful if you have:

  • Ability to quickly adapt to new tools, processes, or client-specific requirements, and implement them effectively.
  • Willingness to improve processes, suggesting ways to streamline the report population process or improve accuracy.
  • Technical aptitude with experience in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, VBA)
