The Senior Associate Business Development Representative (SR2) is responsible for driving lead generation and qualification while providing comprehensive sales support across early-stage pipeline activities. This role leverages CRM systems and analytics to identify customer opportunities, ensure accurate lead routing, and maintain compliance with internal sales processes. The position requires strong time management, customer focus, and the ability to coordinate complex activities with diverse internal stakeholders, including sales, finance, legal, and go to market teams.

Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Qualification

  • Own lead generation and qualification efforts, driving early-stage pipeline through outbound outreach and CRM based insights

Opportunity Identification

  • Identify opportunities within assigned accounts and schedule sales activities, exercising sound judgment and occasionally adapting from standard practices when appropriate

Lead Routing & Handoff

  • Pass well qualified leads to appropriate sales teams or partners in alignment with established routing guidelines

CRM & Data Management

  • Maintain accurate customer and pipeline data in CRM systems, including lead tracking, activity logging, follow ups, and reporting

Autonomy & Judgment

  • Execute semi routine assignments independently, seeking guidance primarily for new or complex workstreams


Skills & Competencies

  • Organizational & Time Management: Effectively prioritizes tasks, manages multiple projects, and meets deadlines with minimal supervision

  • Customer Focus: Builds strong relationships during lead qualification and anticipates customer needs to provide relevant solutions

  • Team Coordination: Collaborates effectively with cross functional and sales stakeholders to support prospecting activities

  • CRM & Analytics: Leverages CRM systems, dashboards, and analytics to identify opportunities and support data driven decision making


ATU (Account Team Unit) Collaboration

  • Lead Identification & Qualification: Partner with Strategic Account Executives to identify and qualify leads using market trends and customer insights

  • Sales Support: Provide comprehensive support to sales teams and partners, including inbound demand response, lead routing, CRM tracking, and contract or pricing assistance

  • Cross Functional Alignment: Work with Finance, Legal, and GTM teams to support quotations, pricing discussions, contract development, and order fulfilment while ensuring compliance with internal processes


Minimum Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales development, inside sales, or a related customer facing role

  • Demonstrated experience with lead generation, prospect qualification, and early-stage pipeline support

  • Proficiency using CRM systems to manage leads, pipeline, and sales activities

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills across cross functional teams


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting B2B sales teams within a technology, SaaS, or subscription-based business

  • Familiarity with outbound prospecting tools, dashboards, and performance analytics

  • Experience collaborating with Account Executives or Strategic Sales teams

  • Exposure to sales operations processes, including lead routing, pricing support, or contract workflows

  • Experience working in a matrixed or cross regional organization

  • Prior experience coordinating with Finance, Legal, or GTM teams
