About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Building & Construction Senior Associate to join our growing, high performing, friendly and innovative Commercial Disputes team, which services a broad mix of clients including large corporations, SMEs, high net worth individuals, local councils and government.

About you

Our ideal candidate possesses:

• 5+ years PAE working on a variety of building and construction law matters
  including general building and construction disputes and general disputes, with
  strong front end experience
• Strong knowledge of tribunal and court practice and procedure
• Knowledge of SOPA legislation and experienced with adjudications (both for claimants and respondents)
• Familiarity and experience with drafting and reviewing standard form and bespoke building contracts and preparing departure schedules
• Working with building experts and report preparation on technical issues
• Insolvency and general commercial disputes experience will be considered
• Commercially astute and client focused
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Strong research and troubleshooting methods
• Excellent time management and ability to work to meet deadlines
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
