Our Assurance and Asset Management team continue to grow with our growing Defence market and we are seeking an experienced professional to lead this growth and join our dynamic, collaborative team.
Lead the growth of Beca’s Defence assurance and asset management service across Australia. As the key point of contact for this area, you will shape and lead opportunities, strengthen and lead client relationships and translate Defence clients’ needs into sustainable assurance and asset management solutions.
Combining market insight with strong technical expertise, you will also work closely with project teams to achieve delivery excellence, manage risk and create lasting value for clients.

This role can be based at either our Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne office.
To be successful in the role, you have senior level experience in the Defence estate assurance / asset management sector with a proven track record of turning opportunities into outcomes by shaping and winning work. We’re seeking an established defence consultant and entrepreneurial leader with strong commercial acumen and the confidence in navigating panels, complex frameworks, alliances, and long‑term programmes.
You’ll have an in-depth technical understanding of assurance and asset management across multiple markets such as Government, Defence, Industrial and Utilities, combined with the ability to foster, maintain and build client relationships and client engagement.
You will be dedicated and passionate about helping shape and grow our team. You will also have a deep understanding of the market and have success in building relationships and turning opportunities into outcomes.
In addition, due to the nature and sensitivity of the projects and our client, it a requirement that you hold (or possess the ability to obtain) a current Australian Government Security Clearance at Baseline level or higher, for which you will require Australian citizenship.
You will also possess the appropriate tertiary qualifications aligned to asset management or other related disciplines would be required.
