Position

• Title/Department: Senior Associate / Asset Management
• Region: Asia Pacific
• Location: Singapore
• Reporting: Head of Asset Management, Asia Pacific

• The Fund Management desk sits within the Asset Management team and is responsible for driving the performance of the funds raised and managed by PIMCO Prime Real Estate and delivering strong results to the investors
• This professional will be supporting the Head of Asset Management and Fund Managers in analyzing, monitoring and improving the performance of the funds under management, working with various internal teams in developing and refining investment strategies to support deployment, execution of investment plans and investor engagement as well as assisting in the preparation of investor reports

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance of fund portfolio models to monitor and forecast fund performance
• Assist in the preparation of reporting and presentations to investors
• Perform portfolio analytics including performing periodic gap analysis, synthesizing and analyzing fund data and asset performance
• Assist in the tracking and roll-out and success of various Funds’ ESG goals
• Assist in coordination with internal teams to address investor queries
• Assist in the preparation of strategic presentations and materials for periodic corporate initiatives and decision-making bodies
• Collaborate with team members to drive the adoption of technology tools and platforms to streamline processes, reporting and analytics

Key Requirements

• Strong academic background with at least a Bachelor degree in finance / real estate / engineering
• Minimum 5 years experience in real estate industry or investment banking, especially in Asia-Pacific, is required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to speak an additional Asian language will be advantageous
• Business acumen, analytical self-starter, organized and detail-oriented
• Team player, able to manage a diverse group of stakeholders
• Strong proficiency in Excel. Knowledge of VBA scripting preferred
