The Senior Associate will be part of a cross-functional team, specifically focused on Database and Dashboard maintenance, as well as, transforming raw data into insights and recommendations to drive impact for our clients. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter and has an innate interest in all things data: whether it’s data tidying, visualization, analysis, or statistics, using data to drive business outcomes is a passion.
Responsibilities:
Data Management
Determine data sources and information needs and develop new data source documentation to provide data engineering direction
Access and compile large volumes of media, custom and syndicated data from disparate sources into concise and precise information
Ensure data quality by QAing and resolving data discrepancies for reporting
Collaborate with diverse teams across multiple time zones to ensure account deliverables are being met
Understanding of ETL process and ability to query database
Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines
Data Analysis and Presentation
Interpret data and analyze results to generate insights and produce visuals (charts, graphs) and presentations for trend statistics
Conduct deeper dives to find specific answers to client inquiries
Produce easy-to-understand, error-free, timely deliverables and effectively communicate findings
Handle small data pulls (ad hoc requests) with limited support and provide support for larger data needs.
Develop automation via scripts, macros or efficiency models to streamline repetitive tasks.
Qualifications:
1+ years in a quantitative business environment (or graduate degree completion)
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science or related quantitative field
Experience in marketing or media analytics is preferred
Experience in data visualization (Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Datorama) is a plus
Experience in SQL, Python, or R is a plus
Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail
Proficient in PowerPoint with advanced Excel skills
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate across teams
The annual salary range for this position is $68,000 - $88,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
