Do you have a passion for technology and a knack for uncovering financial discrepancies? PwC Indonesia’s Forensic Technology team is seeking highly motivated and tech-savvy individuals to join our growing practice as Forensic Technology Senior Associates.

What You’ll Do:As a Forensic Technology Senior Associate, you will leverage advanced technical skills and industry best practices to support investigations related to financial crime and cyber incidents. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting forensic data acquisition from various digital sources while ensuring proper preservation of evidence and maintaining strict chain of custody to uphold evidentiary integrity for potential legal proceedings.

  • Performing detailed forensic analysis of data to detect fraudulent activities and financial anomalies.

  • Conducting cybercrime investigations by collecting, preserving, and analyzing digital evidence such as logs, emails, and file metadata.

  • Utilizing specialized data analytics tools and techniques to extract actionable insights that support fraud investigations, anti-money laundering and litigation engagements.

  • Preparing comprehensive, clear, and client-ready forensic reports that summarize findings, methodologies, and recommendations.

  • Serving as a key point of contact for clients during forensic engagements to provide timely updates, manage expectations, and clarify technical findings.

  • Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, including forensic accountants, investigators, legal advisors, and technology experts, to deliver integrated forensic solutions.

  • Supporting team knowledge sharing and training in best practices related to digital evidence handling, data acquisition, and forensic tools.

What You’ll Need:

  • 3-4 years experience in Cybersecurity/ Forensic Technology
  • Bachelor's degree majoring in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, or related background with a minimum GPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 from reputable university
  • Digital Forensics Proficient in collecting, preserving, and analysing digital evidence from various devices (computers, mobile, network).
  • Data Analytics: Skilled in using data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, IDEA, ACL) to identify anomalies or patterns related to fraud or misconduct.
  • E-Discovery: Experienced with e-discovery platforms such as NUIX and Relativity and managing large datasets as part of investigations or litigation support.
  • Cybersecurity Fundamentals: Understanding of core cybersecurity principles and their relevance to fraud investigations.
  • Knowledge of Forensic Tools: Familiarity with tools such as EnCase, Magnet AXIOM, Autopsy, Oxygen, FTK, Cellebrite or similar.
  • Programming/Scripting: Basic coding skills for automating tasks and parsing data (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
  • Cloud and Network Forensics: Knowledge of investigation techniques for cloud environments and network traffic analysis.
  • Bonus / Preferred Capabilities Professional certifications such as:
    Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
    Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
    GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE)
    EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE)
  • Previousexperience in forensic investigations, compliance audits, or fraud risk assessmentsis preferred.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards.
