Senior Assistant, Orthopedics Department

Location: Karachi, Pakistan

Department: Orthopedics - Inpt

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible to:

  • Prepare, compile, and circulate monthly Morbidity & Mortality (M&M) meeting reports, maintaining related data logs, indicators, and presentation records.
  • Manage record keeping, response documentation and follow-ups of patient feedback, complaints, and incident reports
  • Support compliance with ISO, JCIA, and other quality improvement initiatives within the department
  • Coordinate assigned meetings and prepare minutes and rolling action lists
  • Assist in the administration of UGME and PGME in-service examinations, teaching sessions, and training programs for faculty and residents
  • Track attendance and maintain records for academic, training, and CME activities.
  • Coordinate logistics for academic events, CME sessions, and departmental projects.
  • Maintain assigned program, faculty and staff records / files.
  • Support special projects, institutional events, and any other duties assigned by the supervisor or line manager.
  • Facilitate data collection and organization, manage research records, and provide administrative support for departmental publications and scholarly reports.
  • Assist with ethics submissions, monitor project milestones, and ensure adherence to institutional and regulatory research policies.
  • Partner with the Departmental Senior Assistant to support them in all day-to-day tasks, responsibilities, and operational workflows.

Requirements:

You should have:

  • Graduate degree in any discipline
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills
  • Proficiency in computer applications, software packages, and typing
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
