AKU-IED aims to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of schools and other educational institutions in the country through innovation, policy development, practice, training, and research.This is a grant-funded contractual position.Responsibilities: You will be responsible to:develop and maintain a calendar for meetingscommunicate with the project team and other stakeholders regarding events and activitiestake notes and prepare meeting minutesprepare work schedules and travel plans for the project teamarrange resources (stationery) for meetings and other eventsassist the Programme Coordinator in organising events, including logistics and communicationassist the Project Coordinator, Programme Lead, and Team Leads in obtaining and preparing relevant documents for reviewattend events (e.g. training events, workshops) as and when requiredundertake other relevant tasks as assigned by the supervisor, Programme Lead, Team Leads, and team members.
Requirements:You should have:a bachelor’s degree from a reputable national or international university; a higher qualification will be an added advantageat least one year of experience, preferably in performing tasks related to day-to-day project operationsgood interpersonal and communication skills in written and spoken English and Urduability to prepare work schedules and itinerariesability to organise events, including logistics and communicationability to work in a teamproficiency in MS Office and Excelability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.Comprehensive employment reference checks will be conducted.
