Job Description

Our client is seeking a Project Assistant (1 yr contract) focused on supporting food exhibitions and buyer meetings, requiring trilingual skills (Japanese + Cantonese + English), strong PC ability, and preferably food industry knowledge

Location Wanchai

Working hours: Mon–Fri, 9:00–17:00

Hourly rate: negotiable

Starting date: Apr 1, 2026 to 31 Mar 2027 (1 year contract)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage individual business meetings both in person and online
  • Perform tasks related to exhibiting at FOOD EXPO 2026
  • Manage inventory of registered products
  • Provide product explanations to Hong Kong buyers at exhibition venues
  • Maintain and update Hong Kong buyer lists
  • Handle administrative procedures such as approvals
  • Attend and support online meetings to manage progress and provide interpretation when
    necessary

Requirements

  • Experience in food related work or academic background in food studies desirable
  • Native Cantonese with high command of Japanese JLPT N1 and English verbal and written
  • Proficient in Excel Word PowerPoint with ability to input in Japanese and Cantonese
  • Bright sincere honest cooperative with strong communication and explanation skills
