The Senior Assistant Director of Admissions Operations & Technology performs a wide range of admissions operations duties including:
●Work in partnership with the Associate Director of Admissions Operations & Technology to serve as an administrator for Slate, responsible for configuration, maintenance, enhancement, and troubleshooting.
●Build and, equally important, maintain Slate including forms, fields, workflows, queries, rules, populations, permissions, realms, reader configurations, portals, etc.
●Stay current with new Slate features, enhancements, and best practice.
●Explore new and creative ideas to implement, improve, enhance, and/or streamline our Slate environment and business processes.
●Serve as a member of the Slate team. Set weekly meetings, agendas, action lists, and annual retreat.
●Provide day-to-day trouble-shooting, along with training and mentoring, for all Slate users.
●Perform regular audits for data integrity.
●Annually perform steps of cycle prep for each part of our cycle.
●Maintain current Slate documentation and create documentation for all new business processes.
●Support professional development and skill growth of all users in Slate.
●Participate in professional development opportunities, including virtual and in-person Slate community events and conferences.
●Work with territory managers to identify ways in which Slate can be better utilized with refining current recruitment strategies and travel.
●Collaborate with the coordinator of our application review to identify application loads for the staff, along with changes to Reader Assignments in Slate. In addition, keep abreast of reading progress and reallocate as necessary.
●Serve as back-up for all integration and data upload processes.
●Serve as back-up for Decision Confirmation and Release processes.
●Support Associate Director of Admissions Operations & Technology with duties as assigned.
●Support Director of Enrollment Data Analytics with duties as assigned.
●Bachelor’s Degree
●Experience as a key member of a Slate team for 3-5 years
●In addition, the individual has competency with working in Google suite, Word, Access, and Excel as well as other technology tools as needed for specific responsibilities. Knowledge of Banner and Constituo, or similar products is also helpful.
