The Senior Assistant Brand Specialist is a critical role on the Bloomingdale’s Site Merchandising & Optimization team, responsible for overseeing key vendor(s) e-commerce business as their primary digital partner. The Brand Specialist will help develop and optimize data informed strategies for website merchandising, site navigation and content execution to increase conversion and support the sales plans for the brands they oversee.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain integrity and elevation of on-site experience and attribution strategy within your brands products and categories
  • Use Adobe Analytics and Tableau reporting platforms to monitor site KPIs (demand, traffic, engagement and conversion) to synthesize into actionable insights to optimize digital sales and elevate the customer experience
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to influence brand strategy and improve online messaging & merchandising execution
  • Build strong relationships and collaboration with vendor counterparts, acting as a strategic thought-partner and key point of contact for the digital business. Ensuring brand priorities are being met while balancing the Bloomingdale’s strategic vision
  • Collaborate with buying and planning partners to fully understand and support the brands merchant strategies to drive digital sales
  • Maintain the quality of brand boutique, browse categories, search results and cross-sells for your brands to optimize path to product
  • Assist in campaign planning for on-site content and exposures, acting as an internal brand advocate for your brands to ensure additional organic exposures across site
  • Support digital marketing execution by implementing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) recommendations and assisting Search and Affiliate teams with linking support
  • Set-up and test website promotions to ensure proper offer functionality pre and post-launch
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • We encourage candidates with either a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field to apply
  • 3-5 years direct experience
  • Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner
  • Excellent leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels
  • Ability to think creatively, strategically and technically
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs
  • Knowledge of MS Office computer programs are required
