As an (Senior) ASIC Test Engineer (m/f/diverse) for Aumovio ASICs you are responsible for defining and implementing the toplevel test concept of an ASIC based on the analog test concept and the digital test concept. In close cooperation with the design- and design-for-test team, You develop an ATE test concept and ATE test program for the ASIC that can be used and refined for series production when moving from the development to the production stage.

Your tasks will focus on the following activities:

  • Lead the definition of test concepts development for electronic components in serial production based on the module and system level requirements for Automotive application
  • Act as a technical expert and sparring partner for the worldwide design, DFT, and product engineering teams
  • Architect and develop scalable ATE test concepts and test flows for wafer sort and final test
  • Take ownership of the validation strategy for implemented test functionalities and concepts, including defining verification approaches and driving cross-platform consistency. Ensure alignment and correlation of test results between bench/system-level and ATE to secure high measurement accuracy and data integrity
  • Take full responsibility silicon characterization across process, voltage, and temperature (PVT) to validate new product features
  • Setup and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for test concept, test programs, and procedures
  • Release ATE test solutions to manufacturing and support ongoing production quality related to test coverage

Qualifications

  • Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, or related field
  • Several years of professional experience in ASIC test engineering
  • Advanced ATE test development & program architecture DFT strategy, architecture, and implementation
  • Test concepts for complex analog, mixed-signal and digital ASICs
  • Deep understanding of analog and mixed-signal circuit design & simulation
  • Strong knowledge of digital design and verification methodologies
  • Solid understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, test flows, and failure analysis
  • Experience in yield analysis, test optimization, and product ramp-up
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities Ability to take ownership and drive topics independently
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to mentor and guide others
  • Comfortable working in a global, cross-functional environment
  • Very good English skills (written and spoken) German is a plus
