The Agentic Artificial Intelligence Team within Boeing’s Enterprise AI & Data Organization is seeking a Senior Artificial Intelligence Operations Specialist (AIOps) to join us working in North Charleston, SC; Hazelwood, MO; Tukwila, WA; Chicago, IL; Arlington, VA; Colorado Springs, CO; or Dallas, TX.
The Artificial Intelligence Specialist will deploy, scale, and monitor automated agent workflows across enterprise environments. This role supports the operational backbone of agentic AI solutions, helping ensure that automation is reliable, observable, secure, and ready for production use. The AIOps Specialist will work closely with developers, architects, platform teams, and business stakeholders to support the rollout of agent-based workflows and the systems they depend on.
This position focuses on automation, monitoring, analysis, and operational readiness. The AIOps Specialist will help set up development and production environments, support deployment activities, and build tools and processes that improve reliability and scalability. They will investigate technical and reliability issues, recommend process improvements, and help establish best practices for provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, and troubleshooting. This role also contributes to defining and tracking service level indicators, service level objectives, SLAs, and error budgets to ensure solutions meet performance and availability expectations. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, technically strong, and comfortable working in fast-paced, short-duration engagements where speed, stability, and continuous improvement are essential.
Position Responsibilities:
Build, test, and deploy automation, monitoring, and analysis solutions for agent workflows
Support deployment and scaling of automated agent-based solutions across development and production environments
Investigate technical, operational, and reliability issues during development and implementation
Build and integrate software tools that improve system reliability, observability, and scalability
Support setup of development and production environments, including deployment-related activities
Develop best practices and methodologies for provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, and troubleshooting
Collaborate with delivery teams to define and track service level indicators, service level objectives, SLAs, and error budgets
Create and recommend process improvements that increase stability, efficiency, and operational readiness
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of operational processes for automated agent workflows
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience with software/application development process, including productionizing and deployment
5+ years of experience with automation and provisioning of cloud environments
5+ years of experience with deploying, scaling, and monitoring machine learning applications in a production environment
5+ years of experience with troubleshooting, researching and resolving technical issues involving integrated systems
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience supporting AI-enabled systems, automated workflows, or AIOps capabilities
Experience with observability tools, monitoring frameworks, logging, or alerting solutions
Experience with configuration management, provisioning, or release/deployment processes
Experience improving reliability, scalability, or operational readiness of software platforms
Experience working with service level indicators, SLAs, or error budgets
Experience integrating tools and systems in enterprise environments
Experience with cloud platforms, automation tooling, or modern deployment practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
Experience collaborating across delivery, platform, and operations teams
Familiarity with secure deployment practices and enterprise control requirements
