Your new role

As Senior Area Process Management Professional - Supply Chain, you'll be at the forefront of optimizing our supply chain operations, driving process excellence and sustainability across our global network. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver treatments to patients who depend on us.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving continuous process improvements across supply chain operations by identifying efficiency opportunities and collaborating with process owners to implement enhanced procedures
  • Developing and implementing sustainable supply chain solutions that improve material efficiency, reduce carbon footprint, and balance economic, environmental, and social impacts
  • Providing expert guidance and support to diverse stakeholders, ensuring supply chain operations align with business objectives and fostering open communication across the organization
  • Planning and executing smooth transitions for new plant implementations, system updates, and process changes with minimal disruption to operations
  • Advising on master data management and data governance strategies, utilizing analytics to support informed decision-making and strategic planning
  • Delivering targeted training programs within Global Operations Planning (GOP) to ensure successful process adoption
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to establish robust data governance frameworks that enhance operational efficiency and compliance

In CMC & Product Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products. We are more than 30,000 colleagues across the globe with the shared responsibility of scaling molecules, processes, devices, and products, dedicated to supplying life-saving medicines to the patients who need them most.

The supply chain team provides robust and reliable supply chain planning in close cooperation across our global organization. Using data and technology, we help establish operations across geographies, develop market insights, and support management in critical supply chain decisions. The team manages operations and master data management while acting as a strategic partner to enable logistics and distribution—all with a key focus on ensuring access to our products for patients who need them.

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for an experienced supply chain professional who thrives in complex, global environments and is passionate about driving operational excellence. You'll bring with you:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years of professional experience with demonstrated progression in responsibility and impact
  • 5+ years of hands-on supply chain experience, preferably within pharmaceutical or healthcare manufacturing environments
  • 3+ years of experience working with supply chain planning tools and systems (e.g., SAP, advanced planning systems)
  • Proven track record in driving process improvements and managing change initiatives in complex organizational settings
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data and technology to inform strategic decisions
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse, global teams
  • Experience in sustainability initiatives and understanding of environmental impact reduction in supply chain operations is highly valued.
