We’re looking for a Senior Architectural Technologist to lead the technical execution of architectural projects. This role requires translating conceptual design into high-quality technical documentation while collaborating with design architects and consultants to uphold dhk’s high standards.



You’ll oversee the production of detailed construction drawings, coordinate across disciplines, and ensure design intent is maintained through all project phases. Your leadership and technical expertise will be key in delivering innovative, compliant, and constructible architecture.


What You’ll Do

  • Interpret design intent and translate it into precise construction documentation.
  • Produce accurate, detailed architectural and technical drawings using Revit.
  • Ensure documentation aligns with building regulations, codes, and company standards.
  • Liaise with consultants, contractors, and municipal authorities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Evaluate materials and construction methods to optimise design solutions.
  • Coordinate technical input across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Support project planning, costing, and documentation delivery.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

  • National Diploma or BTech in Architectural Technology
  • Minimum 8 years’ post-qualification experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in producing and managing technical documentation
  • Solid knowledge of building systems, regulations, and construction methodologies
  • Experience interacting with local authorities and regulatory bodies
  • Track record of contributing to complex project delivery from design to construction


Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Revit (An assessment will be required if you are shortlisted)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical coordination tools
  • Strong understanding of technical detailing, documentation standards, and code compliance
  • Experience in BIM workflows, collaboration techniques, and digital modelling
  • Additional capabilities in façade design, sustainability certifications (e.g., Green Star), or 3D modelling will be advantageous
