About the Role

Our client is a Washington State-based architecture firm with a diverse portfolio spanning commercial, institutional, and residential projects. Known for their thoughtful design approach and strong community presence, they work across a wide range of project types, from healthcare and pediatric facilities to hospitality and wellness spaces. They're a growing team that values precision, collaboration, and delivering quality work for their clients.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Architectural Project Coordinator with strong technical expertise in construction documents and detailing. You'll take SD plans through DD, CD, and permit sets with minimal oversight, redline drawings for the team, and keep project documentation, workflows, and stakeholders aligned throughout the project lifecycle. If you're organized, technically sharp, and have solid experience working with U.S.-based clients, this role is for you.

Core Responsibilities

Construction Documents and Technical Detailing

  • Take Schematic Design (SD) plans through Design Development (DD), Construction Documents (CD), and permit sets with minimal oversight.

  • Redline drawings and provide clear, accurate markups for the internal team.

  • Ensure all deliverables meet project requirements, firm standards, and applicable codes.

Project Coordination and Documentation

  • Coordinate project workflows across commercial, institutional, and residential project types.

  • Manage drawings, revisions, and schedules to ensure accuracy and timely completion.

  • Maintain organized digital project files throughout the project lifecycle.

Team and Stakeholder Alignment

  • Keep internal teams, external consultants, and clients aligned throughout a project.

  • Follow through on milestones and promptly flag risks or delays to the appropriate parties.

BIM and Project Management Tools

  • Use Revit and BIM workflows to support project documentation and coordination.

  • Track tasks and project progress using Asana, Trello, or similar platforms.

Candidate Qualifications

Must-Haves

  • Degree in Architecture or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience carrying projects from SD through CD and permit sets, with minimal oversight.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience across commercial, institutional, and residential projects.

  • Strong proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows.

  • Proven experience in redlining drawings and producing technically detailed construction documents.

  • Experience working with U.S.-based clients, with fluency in written and spoken English.

Good to Haves

  • Familiarity with Washington State building standards and codes.

  • Experience with project management tools such as Asana, Trello, or similar platforms.

  • Knowledge of Twinmotion or similar visualization tools.
